Una gata negra y blanca

ondea la cola sobre el pasto de mayo, asolea su panza

entre alhelíes.

Estoy leyendo a un poeta chino

llamado El Viejo Que Hace Lo Que Se Le Antoja.

La gata está atenta a la escritura

de las golondrinas

en el cielo blanco.

Ambos estamos viejos y haciendo lo que se nos antoja

en el jardín. Ahora estoy escribiendo

y la gata

está durmiendo.

is sleeping.
